Alice's summer holiday work

While phil was off analysing the front covers of local newspapers i decided to do some research of what the readers of those local newspapers were most interested in. I created a questionnaire asking questions that would help us get inside of what the readers were after and help us establish our target audience and the type of stories people would be most interested in. The questions that we asked were;
Are you male or female?
Do you read a local newspaper?
If you do read a local newspaper, what one do you read the most?
How regulary do you read the local newspaper?
What main features are you interested in?
What do you think the main function of a newspaper is?
We asked a total of 50 people of a range of different age groups; 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+. We asked 10 people from each catogory and put the first 4 questions into graphs so our resluts were clear to read and were easily understood. The results for the questionnaire are as follows;
