After looking at our book cover on our poster we thought we would experiment with a few colours.
We thought of the idea of having a two tone book cover sort of like the red one that we analysed. We tried this and thought it went quite well. It gave the impression that the characters were in a 'dark way' as the darker colour was at the bottem of the book and faded as it reached the top of the book. We also changed the font of the name of the book. The font that we first used looked a bit 'childish' when we wanted it to look a bit more sophisticated and grown up.
